Thanks for checking us out, and we hope you enjoy the cast of characters we’ve assembled. If you’re checking out this page, you’re probably wondering what this site is all about.
Being big comic fans, Sean and I decided that the time had come to produce our own book. We debated back and forth on the route we wanted to take, and ultimately decided that, considering the day and age we live in, a web comic was the way to go. We did, however, want to do it a bit differently.
Comics are seeing a paradigm shift on the internet, but we weren’t totally in love with the “daily strip” format. Instead, we thought it’d be better to do full issues, and just make them shorter than a regular comic. We also feel that with comic prices being what they are, it takes a lot for somebody to drop $3.99 on a book they know nothing about. That’s why we’re posting it for FREE online.
What you’ll see here is a 13 page preview issue, as well as a series of 2-page “origin” stories for several of our key characters. You can read them now in your browser, and we’re talking about posting them as .pdf and .cbr files for those of you who like to keep your comics digitally. In addition, we figured some people might want to buy an actual printed version. (As much as I love webcomics, nothing beats sitting at home on the couch, reading an actual comic book.) As a result, we’ll soon be offering the option to buy a our preview issue through a print-on-demand service. We’ll even add a short 5-page exclusive story to make the purchase worth your while!
